Steven was just playing a retro platformer called Byte Breaker on his old TV. Then the screen started glitching. The controller shocked his hand. And in a flash — Steven and his dog were sucked into the game. Now trapped inside a corrupted digital world, Steven has one mission: defeat the Glitch, rescue his dog, and escape the game for good.

This early prototype gives you a first taste of the broken system:

  • Responsive controls built for speed and skill
  • 7 handcrafted levels designed to teach you the ropes
  • Early systems, placeholder graphics — but the core gameplay is here (kinda)

In the full game, you can expect:

  • Dozens of handcrafted levels, secrets, achievements, and unlockable characters

  • Corrupted zones, dangerous hazards, and byte-burning boss fights

  • A world that breaks apart around you

  • Glitch Orbs.  Alternate paths. Brutal rewards

This build is about testing the core movement and level design. It's raw. It's rough. But the heart of Bit-Break is already beating. (somewhat)
